From early 1968 and until 2010 Maximin Lida has been compiling sketches of some of his most important pieces, which have been put together in this book.
Although many of these have been sold all over the world for the past 35 years, which makes it difficult to keep track of them, this booklet gives you a good idea of his artistic work produced throughout the years.
Maximin Lida has not really been categorized due to his creative and versatile way of painting, respectful of his non-style philosophy combining different media, techniques and areas such as painting, architecture, interior design, furniture, metalwork, commercial prototypes, websites, graphic design, photography, and more.
Born in France and living in the USA for several decades now, Maximin Lida has spent lots of time traveling around South America, Asia, The Middle East, Europe, and the most exotic places in order to understand the world through its people and cultures.
